Reporting Officer

Redbridge Recruitment is currently working with a company located in Windhof. The company has acquired solid expertise in providing assistance to listed industrial and financial groups and to the Asset Management Industry with focus on hedge funds, private equity vehicles and real estate structures. They offer a broad range of accounting, tax compliance, financial reporting, financial consolidation, and valuation services to large corporations, financial institutions, investment funds and asset managers, including those operating in the Alternative Investment segment.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and your career path and promote new business opportunities. You will participate in a training programme and will get acquainted with advanced accounting, financial reporting, consolidation, and valuation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Prepare LUX GAAP and IFRS compliant financial statements
• Get involved in the preparation of accounting IFRS compliant report packages
• Communicate effectively and clearly with the clients to deal with any questions or queries related to the accounts
• Assure the administrative follow up of companies with regard to their financial reporting obligations
• Proof-read the reports before submission to team leaders and clients
• Liaise with external auditors and prepare audit support schedules and working papers
• Draft potentially complex financial statements and disclosures
• Monitor continued compliance with the latest IFRS standards
• Perform research on technical accounting issues and prepare accounting memos addressing non-routine transactions
